shot blasting machine
The abrasive recovering system is the heart of the machine. The shot-blast media is collected from the bottom of the machine. A bucket elevator or screw conveyor system is used to remove the steel shot from the surface. The reclaimed shot-blast media is then transported over an air-wash separation system to remove the broken-down particles. The air-wash separator will collect all the dust, while a shot blasting machine can handle 500 to 4,000 pounds of shot per minute.
The shot blasting machine main component is the blast cabinet. It supports the wheels and contains the steel shot. It also recovers the shot pellet and hurls it into the surface. The blast cabinet is made of heavy-duty materials like AR plates or manganese steel. It is required to stand up to three shifts for 24 hours at a time. Aside from the blasting chamber, the shot dividing wheel is also part of the machine's body.
